Fluke 985 Airborne Particle Counter

The 985 is an efficient particle counter from Fluke Corporation, which allows the user to determine indoor air quality. This model offers the solution to determine the airborne particles and is an ideal instrument for HVAC, filter testing, and IAQ investigations. It comes with the flow rate of 0.1 cfm (2.83 L/min). The Fluke 985 offers a particle size range of (0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0 and 10.0) micro m. This model comes with many features, such as the capability to measure the filter efficiency and observe industrial clean rooms.

The Fluke Airborne Particle Counter 985 comes with a large 3.5 QVGC color display. There are also easy to view icons and large font options. These features enable easy navigation through the functions. This model can locate particle dirt sources and comes with a light source from 775 nm to 795 nm, 90 mW class 3B laser. There are six channels for accurate measurements.  The Fluke particle counter 985 is ultra-lightweight and offers easy handling. The standard battery life is ten hours, so the meter will stay operational for a full workday.

The Fluke particle counter offers numerous data transfer options, such as a USB memory stick/ USB cable or Ethernet connection to enable data transfer. The maximum data storage capability is 10,000 records. The Fluke 985 also has the capability to show alarms. These may be counts, low battery, and sensor fail alarms. It offers the calibration of PSL particles in the air (NIST traceable).  The Fluke 985 particle counter also offers an optional password control for security purposes.
